Elena Lea, PhD

Professional Biography

Dr. Lea obtained her doctorate from the University of Florida in 1999. Dr. Lea specializes in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and their families. She conducts comprehensive psychological evaluations, including testing for learning disabilities and ADHD. In addition, she provides individual and family therapy, as well as parenting consultation. She also consults with physicians, parents, and educators about how best to meet the needs of children. Dr. Lea holds memberships in the American Psychological Association and the North Carolina Psychological Association. Her areas of treatment specialty include child/adolescent therapy, psychological testing of children with school, adjustment, and learning problems, parenting skills, anxiety and depression in children and adolescents.
